Well, I live in London and never get cabs as they are really expensive. For me a ten minute journey you'd probably pay about £6 I think. Manchester would be a alot cheaper I reckon.
But I'm not certain.

Hi sweetie, i've only taken a taxi once in manchester and i think i was about £7 for a 15 min journey as i take the metrolink everywhere.

Try your best to get train into Picadilly and there is a taxi rank right outside the station. It is a huge station but well signposted.

Pity it wasn't next Thursday, i would of tried to come down to show you the way....lol

Me and my pal jenni were discussing our trip to Glasgow today actually. we're leaving at about 6.30 in the morning. It'll only take us about 3.5 hours to get there but we're just gonna have a leisurly drive down. Our audition starts at 1.15pm and our hotel is right next door to the clyde auditorium so just stroll round....lol Canna wait
