Haha! in about 11 years of being an ant & dec fan i dont think ive mentioned Robbie and Johnny more than 5 times

When did Ant and Dec become friends with Robbie and Jonny and how? Was it through their mutual love of golf? That's not off topic, it's a genuine question relating to my favourite Geordies, nothing to do with the blokes from Stoke.

As far as I know it was because Jonny was in Godspell with Dec's then girlfriend Claire Buckfield. Dec would come along to see Claire and Rob would come to watch Jonny. Saw Dec and Rob a couple of times when watching the show, not that I was stalking Jonny I don't like that sort of thing.

From stuff I've seen Ant and Dec knew Robbie from back in the Take That Days, the lads used to take the mick abit on the Ant and Dec show and robbie was on Ant and Dec unzipped as special guest. Dunno about jonny

im sure they were mates before godspell,(oh the memories!) Robbie and Jonny were on the last smtv, and Robbies been on unzipped (plus they managed to get Robbie onboard to do Slap bang) I reckon its from the music career.

I'll tell Jonny next time I see him that he lied to me He told me they started hanging out socially as they had things in common - they obviously knew each other - doing the same shows etc I'll step away from this thread before I get into any more trouble.
