They did pretty bad to be honest 
Here takeaway gets 9 mill vewers in america which is about 3 times the size of the uk they got 3 million vewers pretty bad.
And then to come back and find out a guy called Ant in the US is suing them for having the same name must of really peed them off

i waso mad when i heard that ant in america was sueing them...id say he was just looking for publicity...does anyone know what happened from that...?...

Shame they were unsucessful in the US i'm sure if they got the right show they would be loved.
They said on that Channel 5 show that Ant and Dec were being lined up to replace Ryan Seacrest i think that would be a terrible mistake for the lads,there are alot of people who love Ryan and alot of people who are dead against having a British hosts on American TV.
Cat got a bit of stick when she 1st took over on So you think you can dance from kids on the official message board because she was'nt American they didnt even give her a chance but by the end of her 1st season everyone has been praising her.I think Ant and Dec would get so much flack if they joined American Idol its like a national institution over there and so is Ryan Seacrest.

anyway...if they moved to america...we wouldnt have the boys back...they would stay in america and wouldnt come back to britain...so in a way its good that they didnt do well in america...

i dont think the US has much of a sence of humour to get Ant and Dec like we do.......there lost is our gain lets hope they come up with some exciting new shows

I read up on the legal jumble and basically it's illigal for 2 acts of the same kind to have the same name in the us I think thats pretty stupid.
But how many UK acts have the same name?

Just a comedian called Ant.
The lads signed the document that they were accepting the rules, but expected with them in TV presenting and the other in stand up comedy it wouldnt matter 
This Ant says because Ant and Dec did so bad it's given him a bad name

What a load of rubbish surely if its your original name not a stage name it should'nt make any difference
I know a few English bands have had trouble like Suede they are known as the London Suede in the states maybe they should call Ant the London Ant or Newcastle Ant

How about Tony and Dec
were they actually called Ant and Dec in the states as i notice the lads like to be called Anthony Mcpartlin and Declan Donnelly in the credits
