Maybe when we went to Newcastle to see the Alien Autopsy Premiere. It was heavy snow in Aberdeen (Yes in April!!) and we went on a freezing cold megabus which we had to change at Perth & then Edinburgh but from Perth to Edinburgh the bus was so hot and the same to Newcastle. In total it took us about 7-8 hours to get to Newcastle.
Rushed to Hotel and out to Premiere before getting back on the bus the next morning to do it the journey all over again.

Good Night Though

When I was 13 and obsessed I'd heard they were gonna be on a show filmed at the London Studios. I'd never met them (and was DESPERATE to) so asked my mum if I could go and try to meet them. She was enthusiastic and gave me directions to plan my journey (the studios wasn't far from where I lived- only about 15mins away by tube) but then the day before, she decided "actually, you're too young to go by yourself, I want your older brother to take you". I thought "fair enough" but when it came to going to the studios, my brother REFUSED to take me, he didn't see the point! I was SO angry! My mum had forbidden me to go alone, but I was so desperate to meet Ant and Dec that after she'd left for work, I went to the studios by myself anyway.
Thank God, I did- I finally met them after dreaming about it for two years previously. The boys were just SO sweet- it was a bit of a blur but I do remember Ant saying he liked my name when signing an autograph and Dec giving me a huge hug (I could smell his CK One fragrance on my coat afterwards!) and even now (12 years later), it's a memory that makes me smile!
And later, my mum was too pleased for me to be angry at me for disobeying her!
Other crazy things I did was skipping school several times to see them at the Big Breakfast and at their old production company office. Embarassed

Still crazy now:
Booked the night off work to go to the NTAs and in January, I'm travelling overnight from London to Newcastle to go to the BGT auditions. That includes spending the night in Doncaster train station in the middle of winter. Shocked

It's a 5hr wait- I'm going with my best friend and he thinks Ant and Dec are cool so it will be a laugh. We might stay in a hotel nearby and grab a couple of hours kip! Otherwise might fall asleep watching the auditions! Laughing
