Alan Shearer is to take over as Newcastle United manager for the remaining eight games of the season as the club battle to avoid Premier League relegation.

i assume thats good news Alfred i only assume becasue its shearer and the boys like shearer Alfred

Is that good?!

I remember hearing about Kevin Keegan stepping down from Newcastle manager. My Geordie colleague Martin refused to discuss it.

(Speaking of Martin, he told me casually one day that he went to school with Dec)

Its gonna be hard for him as he is such a legend in newcastle, all the fans will expect him to do well and if he fails to keep them in the premier league it will hurt a lot of geordies. But good luck to him.

omg...i agree...he has to do well...cause he did so well...id say the fans are expecting him to well for the team...hope he does well for the team..its what they need...
