My story's nothing major, I traveled to Newcastle for the Alien Autopsy Premier, my very good Geordie friend got us Tickets.

I managed to wait for the lads up stairs, shared a lift with some Newcastle United blokes (my friend shared a lift with Decs dad).

I met Lisa then talked to some guy I found out to be one of Decs brother's which was cool.

They were kind enough to sign for everyone, Ant rushed Dec took his time and loved the interest. He gave loads of kisses to the girls.

Ant was a quick hello and said your welcome when I said thanks.

Dec walked past and I screamed for him to come back, which he did Laughing

I mumbled some stuff and he was so lovely.

I was one of the last to enter the cinema and in the door way the lads were being interviewed for local TV so I had to bend down and run past there back's to get in.

I was about 5 rows behind dec and loved it!

Some people say dont meet your hero's incase they end up being total idiots but my god the lads showed them selves to be just like they are on TV.

Here are my wee stories of when i saw them live, there are quite a few..Enjoy

The first time i saw Ant & Dec was when they headlined the Now! magazine Roadshow in December 1994 and it was at the Palace Nightclub in Aberdeen. We all started queueing quite early to get in and get a good spot and while we were queueing we got a bit bored and started to sing PJ & Duncan tunes to pass the time, quite a few more people joined in and then there was a bit of commotion in front of us and then we saw John (Ant & Dec's Bodyguard during there singing Days) with a camcorder and he told us to keep singing, so we sang Eternal Love to the camcorder...lol. The gig was great too and they had to keep stopping the show cause there was people pushing at the front. Then i saw them again in April 95 at the Capitol Theatre in Aberdeen when they headlined the Mizz Roadshow. I was about 7 rows from the front and we were having a great time then my mate asked me to throw a teddy on the stage, from 7 rows back but i managed to get it on the stage. Then a girl behind me asked if i can throw hers on too, so i said i'd give it a go. Dec was over my side of the stage so i waited till he moved and launched this teddy bear, well didn't Dec decide to move back to my side of the stage!! The teddy wizzed passed his head just missing him. Phew!!! I saw them agian in 95 on there Christmas Cracker Tour was right at the back for this one but the only mad thing was the Backstreet Boys were there support act!!! Never saw them in 96 but see my other post in here for my highlight of that year. Saw them live on the cult tour in 97 when i was 4th row and i had no voice to sing along with as i had been to 2 Boyzone gigs the 2 days before. I have this gig on cassette as those were the days when you sneakled in dictaphones to record the gigs and its so sweet to hear the crowd sing along to there tunes. Well thats all my gigs i saw in the 90's. I also went along to the Alien AUtopsy Premiere in Newcastle in 2006 and i'm heading to Glasgow next year to see the BGT Auditions.

Also did the filming ever go anywhere like on TV?

Well you've read about my gigs now about the day that i met the boys.

4th March 1996, yeah it was 12 years ago but a day i won't forget. The lads were playing the Capitol Theatre but we decided not to get tickets but to go and meet them. SO we stood outside the back of the capitol and stood yapping to other fans, we then stood and sang songs but no sign of them. One of my friends had a contact she could call to see if he knew where they were staying. So she called him up and he gave us the name of the hotel...The Imperial Hotel. Woo-Hoo we got all excited and then it dawned on us...where is the Imperial Hotel? Laughing

So we phoned up directory enquires and got the phone number of the hotel and then we called them up and asked for directions. We managed to find the hotel as it was in the city centre. But it was still early and they hadn't performed yet so we jusy hang around the Capitol and when they were on stage we headed down to the Hotel.
We got there at about 8.30 and we managed to met one of the support acts and then we stood talking to a few more fans that were there. ABout 15 of us. Then there van turned up but they were rushed into the hotel. But about 10 minutes later John, their bodyguard, came down to tell us that they will be out to see us after they had had a shower. So we just had to wait. We managed to annoy the hotel staff by sitting on the window ledges but they did let us use there loos. It was 11.30pm and a few fans had left so only about 10 of us left, but still no sign. John kept coming out to say that they were coming out. then just before midnight Ant & Dec came out to see us and they were so nice. They made sure we all got autographs and told us we were mad to be out this late and make sure we all got home safely. I was over the moon that i got there autographs and a kiss on the lips from Dec, forgot to get one off Ant as i was too hyper from kissing Dec....lol. But their autographs are in a frame on my wall and i hope that i will get to meet them again some day.

Its sad I doubt they will meet us (im at the manchester one) It would be so cool to get up close and just say hey! Laughing

Well after what seems about 15 years, i had seen them in roadshows, tv shows, been very close... but soooo close but sooooo far!
Until this October, my dream came true .. i met ........
I went to the National Television Awards and i queued for hours, and when i finally see them coming down the red carpet i was determined i was going to see DEC!
They were being called over to the press, but i had their recent book (thanks to Chaz!) and was waving it about Lol.
Then he came over and signed the book, i said can i have a kiss, he said of course and gave me a kiss!
I think he was scared of me coz i had been standing there for hours on a mission to get him over and when i saw him, i was shouting at him! " Declan come here! poor man! He was soooooooooo adorable.
I think they are the best, like i said in previous post, they are so down to earth, i reakon if i was at a party with them, we would hit it off ! have a great laugh!

My next aim is to meet them properly Smile
