I hate to this day stuff like the NTAS exactly for that reason, i just feel youd have to get there HOURS before to get to the barrior and then scream yourself hoarse against all these random people for an autograph hug or a photo!
Same with BGT people go silly and crowd round the stage door! I remember once at bgt piers morgan came out and loads of people went mental over him (oh come on purleaseee) and i slipped next to door opening - saw dec ear the back of the hallway and he started a convo whilst everyone was all over piers! (then everyone looked in, noticed and went mental meaning the lads needed security just to get to the car!)
EDIT: just read your post Chaz, i hope they do book signings to shift the books, even that might tempt me!

Its true about people going crazy about just over any celeb, at the premier, I turned up at about 3, only one other person (Vicky if you remember her) turned up abit later, They then began putting the carpet down and bars.
The geordies began to nosey "Whats happening" etc then the chavs turned up, there must of been about 10 out of hundreds that actually planned to wait!
Ive always fancied NTA's but the lads have a habbit of running to OZ early
