Just a thought, as a newbie don't know if this has been discussed but would you think the boys would branch out on their own at some point. I know Ant doesn't like musicals but after seeing Dec on one of the challenges I think that he would do well in musical theatre, I think he has the right attributes (ooh look at me using big words!) to have a career here. Any ideas?

Can't see them getting into theatre really! I know they both wanted to get into producing and Ant once said he wanted to get back into acting but that was quite some time ago. I deffo reckon producing will be where they venture after they give up presenting xxx

i dont think it would work if they split up in anything- the ideas bounce off each other which makes them so unique.
It'd be pointless, like a chocolate teapot or making multiple accounts on a forum

I think he would be good in musical theatre he always seems to enjoy all the singing and dancing challenges on SNT and he can sing afterall!  Antissuperman I sense a tone of sarcasm in your voice

I genuinely beleive the ideas bounce off each other and that making multiple accounts on a forum is indeed pointless

I could see dec beeing really great in cabaret..the joel grey role..hes a great singer and dancer after all.

Well I would hope the lads wouldn't split up as they are great together. Just to see more of them would be great.

I hope they never pursue individual projects, that would be wrong(in my eyes:()They are fabulous together. Though Dec has a very good singing voice - but musical theatre? Nah.

I don't want them to split up but surely as they get older they will want to branch out. I can't imagine wanting to do the same thing for ever. Even the Two Ronnies and Morecombe and Wise went off and did other things before returning to work together. Dec has the connections with being friends with a bloke from Stoke and Ant could be the new Bill Kenwright!

Dec's singing voice is good but not strong enough for musicals - unless he teamed up with Robbie and Jonny like at Milton Keynes that time.That was good.

To be honest I don't think they will ever go solo. I certainly hope not. Do you recall when Ant's nan died and he was thinking about coming home, leaving Dec to present IAC on his own?

oh yeah i remember i couldn't imagine Dec presenting IAC on his own.
